Sure, Toyota fucked up and it's entertaining to see the media rip the company apart. It's unfortunate that operators of certain Toyota/Lexus vehicles have met their demise after accelerating a while--then decelerating very quickly--but they should have known what "neutral" and "ignition off" mean.

Exploding tires (*cough* Firestone *cough*) are a lot scarier.
